Youth Education Program

The Youth Education Program (YEP) is a single day course designed to give you information about the harmful effects of alcohol and other drugs. It will involve lectures, movies, small group discussions, and other activities. Please consider the following instructions.

Location: The program will be held at different locations depending on the date of the program.  You will receive location information by mail or email.

Time: You must check in at 8:30 a.m. on the assigned program date. If you are late you will NOT be
admitted to class. You will be dismissed by 5:30 p.m. on the same day.

Fees: The fee for the program is $100.00 which includes lunch (breakfast is on your own). Fees made payable toWeekend Intervention Program are due a minimum of one week prior to your scheduled session. Acceptable payment methods are cash, certified check or money order. Please note personal checks are not accepted. For your convenience Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards are also accepted. If you do not pay the fee, you will not be admitted to the program. If it becomes necessary to reschedule your program date a rescheduling fee of $20.00 will be charged.

Court or Agency Notification: You must be present for all of each activity. At the close of the day you will
be given a completion certificate. A copy will also be sent to the referring court or the agency that required you attend the program notifying them of your successful participation. If you do not attend the program or do not complete the program, the court or agency will be immediately notified as well.

 

 

Short Term Education Program

The Short Term Education Program (S.T.E.P.) is a single day course designed to give you information about the harmful effects of alcohol and other drugs. It will involve lectures, movies, small group discussions, and other activities. Please consider the following instructions.

Location: The program will be held at Wright State University, 3640 Colonel Glenn Hwy., Dayton, Ohio 45435, Millett Hall Room 402.  Parking is in Lot #11.

Time: You must check in at 8:30 a.m. on the assigned program date. If you are late you will NOT be
admitted to class. You will be dismissed by 5:30 p.m. on the same day.

Fees: The fee for the program is $100.00 which includes lunch (breakfast is on your own).
